The Educational Therapy Center will screen for dyslexia which does not obligate you to receive remediation services. We do not do diagnostics at this time. We will be happy to refer you to diagnosticians who can diagnose a learning disability. A diagnosis is not required for remediation services, but it is encouraged.

Lorrie Wolf
Lorrie is a certified member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators having received training at the ASSETS School in Hawaii and the Kildonan School in NY. Lorrie is a president of the Kansas/Missouri Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and she currently serves as the treasurer for the Branch Council of the IDA.
Lorrie has co-taught with C. Wilson Anderson in training teachers with Multisensory Synthetic Phonics. Her private practice is with children and adults with dyslexia. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Care Management from Austin Peay State University.
Most importantly, she is the parent of a dyslexic which is how she got involved in Orton-Gillingham.
